Dad, you are missed by so many. It has been over a year since your passing away, but somehow seems like yesterday. As your son I would like to express to all of your Philadelphia fans the love and compassion you had for your city and the people of Philadelphia. You left us all your music and your great, happy spirit. Many Philadelphia fans do not know much about you, that you were one of the best entertainers to come out of this city. One to overcome so much and one to give so much back to others.

On behalf of my father and family I want to thank all the Phillies fans for supporting this song, it was the same song that was played on Broad Street when the Phillies won the World Series. It was my Dad's dream that the Philly fans would adopt this song as their own. My father has recently passed away however his song Goin" Back to Philadelphia PA, lives on in all of us. Like most Philly fans, my Dad was an underdog who strived and worked hard to break the chains of doubt and to overcome all the odds for that one moment, that one moment we all dream of: the win; the championship. Since this song has come out, the Phillies continue to strive and win and we as Philadelphia fans continue to dream.

Good luck to the Phillies and most of all good luck to all the fans that work hard each day for their own accomplishments and successful dreams. Go Philadelphia!
