A new name, a new car, a new ambition. With its groundbreaking design and sophisticated technology, the Insignia makes a quantum leap toward rejuvenating the brand and providing the perfect opportunity to discover Opel. The styling of the new 4.83 meter five-seater clearly expresses Opel's strategy to make advanced technology and attractive design affordable. World premiere July 2008 at the London Motor Show.

  • Haven't seen it on the road yet, when is this coming to the showrooms?

  • It's like BMW and Mercedes had a baby.. The front looks like Mercedes and the side looks like BMW.

    But still very nice car.

  • The next step for OPEL would be to escape from the american owners, they are the reason OPEL used cheap materials and conservative boring design in the past. Now GM realized that OPEL is the last hope of them and they agreed for better materials. GM will be closing soon and i hope maybe a german investor will buy it back, then i will definately switch to opel.

  • Very nice car, but the 70-75 Manta has better lines, more character!

  • GERMAN RULES!!!

Do you know the name of this Song?????

  • OPEL RULZ!!!!...GM is the greatest car company in the world....beutiful car...good work!!!!!

  • this shape is the same as CLS from mercedes... I love my Vectra B! It´s unique...

  • Best looking Everymans car in the world. Bring me a DieselSport version to the states in 2011 via Saturn/Buick/Cadillac [whatever's left] and I'm in. I'll buy the this or the Diesel variant of the Mondeo. Whichever gets here first.

  • You mean BMW3 and A4?

  • the front looks like a mercedes...but great evolution for opel! GREAT JOB
