March 11, 2010 - At a news conference, Sen. Corker reacts to the announcement that Senate Banking Committee Chairman Chris Dodd, D-Conn., will introduce his own financial regulatory reform bill on Monday, Mar.15. Last month, Corker agreed to work with Chairman Dodd toward a bipartisan regulatory reform bill.
Notice how he said nothing about the bill he's trying to pass. Corker wants to strip the regulation out of this bill that would order a full audit of the Fed (Ron Paul's Audit the Fed Bill was attached to this while in the house of representatives). His plan would actually extend the power of the Fed to regulate other private banks. For those of you that don't know the Fed is responsible for our Dollar losing 96+% of its value since it was created and Corker wants to give them more power!

Senator Corker is one of the brightest and best that we have in the Senate. I wish the old guard would see the incredible resource Sen. Corker brings to the old tired ways of Washington. Sen. Dodd is an example of what is wrong with our elected officials...too many do not listen to "we the people". Hang in there Senator, we're behind you 100%.
