i have one of the htx 100s.worked all 50 states back in the early 90s
cycle no.22-- with 25 watts and a dipole ant.

how did you get that to scan.........i own one and i tried that and it dont scan..is their a MOD

Hi John, Yes It has the Scanning MOD installed in it.
You can get it on my site CircuitDomain in the shop section. It comes with full installation instructions (with pictures). It is quick to install, most people will take 20 minutes.

It is a great radio for the price... Haven't used any of my radios in years due to my work travel requirements and my license lapsed.... I only keep it now to test the scanning mods before I ship them.
