@timsytanker what it consumes? I heard that 100 liters per 62 miles is this true?

@ramo10 Panther was the best overall tank of the war, followed very closely (or possibly surpassed, depending on who you ask) by the IS-2, then the 34/85, the Panzer IV, the Sherman (it was extremely versatile, and easy to operate/maintain, even if it was lacking a bit in firepower), and the Tiger II, in that order (Tiger II had a lot of potential, but also a whole lot of bugs in the system)

Model 1969 (also called T-34-85M) - Refurbishing program introducing new R-123 radio set, 'starfish' roadwheels from T-54A main battle tank, night driving equipment, automotive improvements, repositioned or removed smoke canisters to make a space for additional 200-litre external fuel tanks and ditching beam at the rear. An external fuel pump was added to ease refueling.[1]

Good job and thanks for info! BTW some sources says that last T-34/85M1 bulit in 1956 had a V-54 instead a V-2

I believe this was upgraded first to M1 then to M2. I have another Polish T-34/85 which has no modifications at all and looks just like a late war Russian 44 model apart from the front girder. Both have the same engine.
