I needed to turn my T-34 round and reverse her into the workshop, she had not moved for over a year so there were a few problems to overcome.

  • From Wikipedia

    Russia

Model 1960 - Refurbishing program introducing new V-2-3411 engine and improved air cleaner, cooling and lubrication system, battery generator, new BDSh smoke canisters, infrared headlight, driver's sight and 10-RT radio set instead of the old 9-R.

  • Model 1969 (also called T-34-85M) - Refurbishing program introducing new R-123 radio set, 'starfish' roadwheels from T-54A main battle tank, night driving equipment, automotive improvements, repositioned or removed smoke canisters to make a space for additional 200-litre external fuel tanks and ditching beam at the rear. An external fuel pump was added to ease refueling.[1]

  • Poland

T-34-85M1 - Polish refurbishing program, similar to Soviet Model 1960, adding 'skeleton' roadwheels.[1]

T-34-85M2 - Polish refurbishing program, similar to Soviet Model 1969, adding exterior stowage, deep-wading kit and snorkel.[1]

  • Good job and thanks for info! BTW some sources says that last T-34/85M1 bulit in 1956 had a V-54 instead a V-2

  • I believe this was upgraded first to M1 then to M2. I have another Polish T-34/85 which has no modifications at all and looks just like a late war Russian 44 model apart from the front girder. Both have the same engine.

  • It's ex-T-34/85M2, right?

  • Correct, well done! I have a standard transmission cover to put on and get rid of that horrible Polish wading one.

  • @timsytanker what it consumes? I heard that 100 liters per 62 miles is this true?

  • @ramo10 Panther was the best overall tank of the war, followed very closely (or possibly surpassed, depending on who you ask) by the IS-2, then the 34/85, the Panzer IV, the Sherman (it was extremely versatile, and easy to operate/maintain, even if it was lacking a bit in firepower), and the Tiger II, in that order (Tiger II had a lot of potential, but also a whole lot of bugs in the system)

  • your lucky how did you get a tank

  • this is not T-34,this is T-34/85 first model T-34 make 1940-i from russia this is russia tank asshols :D

  • Hallo, eine wirklich gute Arbeit, darf ich fragen wieviel sie investiert haben?

Es ist ja nun auch nicht einfach diverse Teile diese Panzertypen zu bekommen!

    Respekt
