  • @djmopa Again I'm sure its's against their religion to have dual passports anywhere, but nice try.

  • @wolfpack549

I see, maybe the British government should give them a dual then, so they can use either or. Thanks for the reply. ;)

  • @djmopa But it's their culture to have their own passport. I'm sure if it was against your religion, you'd do the same. The Team captain also mentioned that they had been going there for 4 years. The British government should have complied , in the knowing that the Iroquois were supposed to debut the world lacrosse championships in Great Britain.

  • Interesting, the Iroquois made a sport, yet are not allowed to play it in Britain. I understand that the Iroquois may not want a U.S. Passport, but if given, they should accept it and just have their own and then also an American Passport. There is no reason to use a passport for a government, if it is not recognized by other countries.

  • @U2Bwatcher I did read later that the UK welshed on their deal. After the stinging they got in the World Cup they probably figured out the Iriquois team would spank the home team and it would be too much for their sensibilities.

  • I second that finding. I too read a newspaper article that stated the US would not allow them back in without a US passport. I don't know if that changed or not. Was there any updates on this story?

  • Best team and they are shut -out.

  • @brianhogan2007 Second that. There was a very good article last week in a major sports magazine that you might enjoy. I would like to add that this video has left me somewhat confused. I read elsewhere (not the sports mag. ) that the only reason the UK wouldn't allow them to enter the UK with the Haudenosaunee Passport is that the U.S. government wouldn't allow them back into the U.S. without a U.S. passport.
