  • not ariran, arirang

  • I definitely didn't mix them up... gisaeng and geisha come from the same root Chinese letters and served on the most part the same functions. Just using words that foreigners are more familiar with

  • lol... I am a member of a samulnori team, but seeing as I was talking to a foreigner, I thought it would help to use a word that s/he was more familiar with... not too many know who a gisaeng is

  • Thats wierd, cus there arnt no geishas in Korea. Geishas can only be found in Japan. You might be talking about a Gisaeng? dont mix them

  • I agree with you because Korea has Geishas..

    ...... *cough

    Go google Salmunori.

  • Have you seen some of English's most famous literatures from back in the day? They were just as ridiculous and so were their songs. It's just to show the culture of the people back then.

  • Actually, Korea has a lot of different dances that don't have to do with drums. The fan dance, etc...

  • wield, hmm, but the rhythm is ok. Do Korean have any other type of traditional dance? other than play with drums ...no offense, just feel curious.

  • is this group based in boston?
