Did you REALLY just try and apply common LOGIC to one of Hawking's theorems?.. Look, just because you took Physics, doesn't make you an expert. Stephen Hawking's theorem is not going to be undermined by high school level knowledge.

True - Susskind knocked the stuffing out of Hawkings on this and Hawkings was forced to retract. However, what puzzles me is that string theorists argue a string may operate in 11 dimensions and that gravitons may indeed disappear into other dimensions. Is this a possible way Hawkings equation may be revived (ie the information ends doesnt disappear but it ends up in either in another dimension or universe)?

i think that the gravity crushed the singularity so small it could fit through the fabric of time which is like a grid and then slipped into some other dimension OR its energy caused it to explode faster than the speed of light, reverse from matter to anti-matter, and become undetectable and intractable with positive matter... just my opinion :D

@nblumer think of a universe to be like a nebula but on a much more massive scale like there are star clusters and then nebula then galaxies and then universes... dimensions are forms that matter take (each dimension is ADDING more shape to it not an entire different thing)

if the black holes suck in materia into itself, and becomes infinate.. How is it possible to dissapear?! Materia cant disappear,

the black hole may have a limit and after sucking in everything that comes near, it'll become a massive dot, and all the energy will eventually burst out and create a NEW universe...

Right, they are not physically 11Ds - rather from our perspective 1D slices of 2D membranes. They need to be able to vibrate in 11 Ds. This is what I mean by operate.
