20,000 people? Try less than 5000 Michelle. There are pictures and Tim Russert has 4 different DC police sources estimating the crowd at between 4000 and 5000.

However, the Washington Posts Dana Milbank notes that at one point, one of the protesters had a heart attack. Luckily, federally-employed medical personnel were able to quickly attend to him - even though they were part of government-run health care, which is supposedly quite dangerous.
...
By the end of the day, medics had administered government-run health care to at least five people in the crowd who were stricken as they denounced government-run health care."

"Thousands of protesters came to Capitol Hill yesterday for Rep. Michele Bachmanns (R-MN) protest against health care reform, capping months of fear-mongering about the dangers of so-called socialized medicine.

Marxism: taking away (by force) wealth/money from a person who earns it and giving to a person who did not. Or a person who supports such ideology. Whats not to understand?
-
20,000 people??? HAHAHHAAHHAA How dishonest can these people be??? Reminds me of the 1.2 million teabagging assholes that marched on the capitol a while back... when in reality it was only 50,000. hahaha these people are fucking sick in the head.

BlueSkies, you don't even know what a Marxist is, so stop throwing that word around like an idiot. Unless you like looking ignorant.
-
BlueSkies, you are full of crap. What, did you watch an episode of "Fox and Friends" where thay said something like "Paul Krugman sucks?" That hardly counts as studying "economics and free markets." And just how does one study free markets? You are aware, since you claim to be disciplined in the nonexistent concentration, that there is no such thing as a free market? You know someone is full of crap, like you, when that person presents the ad hominem of "I'm smarter than you," but no substance.
-
Oh, and yes, you ARE a marxist..
-
I did not study political science; I studied economics and free markets, something that you have no understanding about.
im a marxist ? aha who are you? glenn beck?
if the government was trying to take over the entire health industry, then you are correct, that might be a slightly socialist policy. however, the whole idea of the "public option" is that it offers more competition and provides options for the consumer. competition is perhaps the most fundamental american value! i dont understand why im marxist and unpatriotic because i value options and competition in the market.

No way dude, it was "organic" all right. There was a whole lot of bullshit being thrown around. Maybe that's a different kind of organic.
