i don't doubt that you guys know how to do martial arts....but the choreo was slow and the hits were 2 far away to look realistic....maybe its the camera angles....

We used an aluminum (or some other type of metal)wire which was shaped into a ring, and left part of the metal sticking out like a nail. Then that part got sharpened (enough to puncture skin, believe me =D ).
It worked 80% of the time in practice when we punched it, Becki just had a lot of thick clothing on.
