One of Accenture's core values is "Respect for the Individual". As part of the It Gets Better Project, Accenture employees and members of the company's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Network share their stories of feeling afraid, lonely and frightened in their youths. They've lifted that fear and pressure and now live their true, authentic lives. Let respect for the individual encourage you too.

  • @deenorris: I just thought the video gave the impression that there were no transgender persons worth recognizing.

  • @ChicagoGene1 That is the problem with blending... no one knows I am transgender! Transgender is VERY visible in the company.

  • @ChicagoGene1 : Thanks for the feedback...one of the individuals in this video is transgender.

  • Accenture's weight-loss competition encouraged 7,500 employees to lose 18,000 lbs. Recommending the use of flexible schedules to other organizations, letting employees work unorthodox hours or operate from locations of their own choice and letting moms take eight fully paid weeks off to give birth, are all fantastic examples of how a company should care and secure the future of the family. This is also the philosophy of Globe Life. Take a look at their Facebook page.

  • Great job love this video

  • No visibility for transgender.

  • This is wonderful! Thank you everyone for sharing your stories, and so glad we could contribute to this project. It makes a difference!

  • I appreciate what you're saying but the spinny camera technique made me woozy. I can't be the only woozy viewer. Anyway, thanks for contributing to the It Gets Better Project.

  • Wow!!!

    One of the best!

  • Liked this video and am thrilled to know it is being put out there for others to see...
