Here's the start of my adventure from LAX to HK and Beijing airport. One of the highlights of my trip was being scanned with a temperature gun to see if I had swine flu. My camera almost got snatched from me twice from security, but I'm cool like that so I still have it.
Adventures from the Forbidden City, Palace of Heaven and the Great Wall coming soon!

where was the restaurant? in HK? I've never seen anything like that (and I'd been in that country for 12 years!)

The guy next to me is most likely my brother Corbin (6 years younger) but the restaurant is called "Royal Restaurant" in Beijing. I know it's kinda confusing but we only stopped in HK for a layover before we arrived in Beijing.

I'm leaving Beijing later today after we take a pedicab a through this one place and by the end of the day we'll be in Chengdu.
