I needed to clean the Carrier Group and the Fireing Pin in my Brothers AR 15. I'm in a hurry in the video, I call the Carrier Group a Carrige Bolt... my mistake. To clean your fireing pin, clear your weapon first! The push the pin at the back of the Upper Reciever to release The Lower Reciever. The pull the Chargeing Handle almost all the way out. The Carrier Group will come with it. Take the Carrier Group out. Remove the Fireing Pins Cotter Pin. Knock the Fireing Pin out. Turn the Cam Pin 90 degrees and remove. Remove the Extractor Bolt from the front of the Carrier Group. Remove the Extractor Pin to release the Extractor. You'll see an O-ring under there and a Spring... Clean all with rag in the field, or hot water, dawn dish liquid and a toothbrush. Lightly coat parts with oil, WIPE THEM DOWN, before putting it back together. Hold the Chargeing Handle Higher than the Carrier Group when reassembling, gently tap into place if needed, close, reset the Back Upper Reciever Pin. Do a Saftey Check and go back to Shooting! This was truely my first time doing this Y'all. I was shown how earlier in the day and decided to do it on my own. So don't be too harsh! You can too! Keep that AR clean and fireing right! Hope you like the Tannerite Explosion at the end!

  • Excellent, but you shouldn't be so timid and fragile with the weapon! (sarcasm) Thanks for sharing! I'm the proud owner of the same exact weapon.

  • @jim48725 LOL, that was my bros, and my first time playing wth it.

  • Hope that isn't steel case ammo. That cheap steel case will degrade your rifle real fast. Pay the extra 5 bucks for the brass and your AR will last a lot longer.

  • @jrc4197 Its brass, what made you think they were steel rounds?

  • @jrc4197 I just looked at those shells... You are right.. they are steel. Good eye! I just grabbed them off the shelf, as you say, they are cheap. Thanks for catching that.

  • GREAT HOW TO!!!

  • @addictiontothewild thanks Bro!

  • @jrc4197 how much do you shoot to make your rife "wear out" cause a 10 dollar extractor is all i have ever heard of failing and thats after thousands of rounds meh i think i can deal with replacing an extractor every now and again after 2-3 thousand dollars worth of ammo

  • @2xtrmshot monarch rounds... 20/$4.99

  • its a fun gun but man you could really burn a lot of ammo's quickly.
