When the warm weather hits, getting out on the water for some boating fun is always a welcome adventure. Whether we're talking about full-scale boats or RC ones, summertime on the water is a great way to cool off and have a great time. When it comes to RC boating, Pro Boat continues to raise the bar in-terms of performance, especially with their latest brushless boats. The Pro Boat® Mystic 29 is one of their latest models and takes things to the next level. Featuring a similar hull design to the Miss Geico, the Mystic 29 features a more powerful motor and ESC to really rocket out on the water. We charged up our Li-Po packs and hit the water waves for some summertime fun.

Conclusion
I've never driven a boat that I didn't like or have fun with. To this point, the standard I've used to compare other boats has been the Pro Boat Formula FASTech, as mentioned earlier. To equal that boat's performance is really something special; to surpass it is unheard of. That is, until now. The Mystic 29 is an amazing boat in the water due to its raw speed and top-notch handling. While there are other boats out there that are as-fast, if not faster, the handling of the Mystic 29 is the difference-maker here. I have never driven a boat that I can power through corners as aggressively as I can with the Mystic 29. Now, I haven't driven every single boat out there, but I have driven a number of them and have a good basis of comparison, and the Mystic 29 is ah-mazing! Going out and having a great time is what the Mystic 29 is all about, and it is my new measuring stick for what all other electric boats should be.

  • Wat r the differences between the geico and this? If there are any

  • @MegaBiker98 The Miss Geico has an inline rudder, 45A ESC and 1500kV motor where the Mystic has an offset rudder, 60A ESC and an 1800kV motor.

  • pro boats are good boats but the spares back up from horizon uk is rubbish I will never buy another pro boat because of the spares

  • @110Griff Spares? As in Spare Parts?

  • @HorizonRCdotCom yes I have a stiletto thats been out of action for some time still waiting for the spares to arrive from the US. would of thought that a good supply of spares would be available when the boat hits the hobby stores, was going to buy a mystic but looking on the horizon UK website they have no spares at all

  • @110Griff We now ship internationally from the main Beta.HorizonHobby dotcom site if you still need parts.

  • Great review. I only have a Miss Geico, well make that two Mis geicos. I never ran either of them stock and I can say with the offset rudder and pushing nearly 90mph. with the 4.67 horsepower upgradeed motor and esc I added the Geico has no trouble handling the high speeds and nearly full throttle turns even with massive upgrades. If the Mystic came in Geico green I would have bought it instead. In essence My Geicos are green Mystics. These boats are very upgradable.

  • Oh dang i didn't even notice the rudder on the gieco! Haha yea I'm definetly gettin mystic! Haha

  • Well contacted Horizon U.S. and was told they won't ship direct to the U.K. Boat still not useable. Parts been on order a month with horizon U.K.

  • Cool will order direct seems that horizon US is a better company than horizon UK

    Thanks.
