  • @floydianworld Every time we confront a politician and ask them tough questions, it should be requested that the politician swear that they're telling the truth, with full commercial responsibility. Ehm, I think we'd see quite another reaction in them, like, ..., running?

    They served as bomb disposal experts. Even the president has lied about neutrality on a number of occasions

  • Ireland should withdraw from the UN and the EU, but that isn't reality. Things can't just work that way.

  • Pretty poor methods employed in the efforts to make arguments to vote NO to the Lisbon treaty. Shouting down upon responses to questions is, essentially, a method to hide any potential weaknesses in the arguments. At times it descends into harassment by the NO campaign. It is very easy to shout out effective, provocative claims and indeed much harder to calmly articulate arguments and engage in civilised debate. Great to see an independent-minded electorate, not so great to see such behaviour...
