Salseras Dance Company was founded in 2001 and consists solely of female dancers. Director of the company is Adriana Mendes, organizer of the Scandinavian Salsa Congress. The group has represented Gothenburg and Sweden many times performing on the congresses all over the world, among others in Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, Paris, UK, Hamburg and Stockholm.
All dancers of the group are a vital parts of Scandinavian Salsa Congress, not only for their much appreciated shows and workshops, but also for their devoted work in the congress organization all year around.
The theme of their latest choreography is from the Musical Chicago. An eye-catching composition with swift and imaginative position changes, colourful clothing and fast paced salsa mixed with street-jazz.
