The M6 motorway to the West and the A1 to the East are each about 40-60 minutes away by car, making the area easily accessible for holidays and short breaks at any time of year!

A lively street market takes place in Hawes every Tuesday, when locals from all around the area come in to town to do their shopping and catch up with friends over coffee, a snack or lunch in one of the excellent tea shops or pubs.
