nice bike!! how does it handle highway speeds, say 65-75mph?? looking to Bob a 250 rebel or maybe a 600. thanks.

@elsunn Well............when I still had the back seat on it, it would pull my wife and I at 80mph. But that was maxed out. I wouldn't want to try cruising at that speed for extended periods. The bike is very nimble and seemed most at home on back roads between 45 and 55mph. I only bobbed the Rebel because it's what I had. If I was in the market for another bike to bob, I'd be looking for a Shadow VLX or a V-star. Their rear suspension is hidden, which gives the bike a hard tail look.

What mufflers did you use? Its the perfect sound ive been looking for for my rebel. Where did you get them? And did you change anything in the carb after the changing pipes?

@jasmith1988 They are shortys. About $25 each from J.C. Whitney. And no, I made no carb adjustments after swapping pipes. Each bike has its own quirks, but more often than not, you can change exhaust on a bike without making carb adjustments. Changes are usually only needed if you modify the air intake.

@RedirXTV I can't find this on the JC Whitney site. What is it called? Part Number? I only need one.

@77camosoul The product number on JC Whitney's site is 16468G. They're the EMGO chrome plated replacement mufflers. You'll have to measure to make sure you order the right diameter. I can't remember what size I used and I've since sold the bike.
