@justy335 they get stuck and sink into the marshy ground, the crew abandons it as they don't have the facilities to recover it and with the pace of the movement on the front it gets forgotten. Russian factories were churning out T34 so quickly that it was easier putting the crew in a new tank and getting them back into the fight then recovering the stuck vehicle...it is proving a godsend for collectors trying to find rare vehicles (especially German).
