Other builders do make 'long slides' but I don't think Colt makes any longer versions

@DeWiz001 Other companies, especially Para Ordnance, have released pistol with wider grip frames with varying levels of double stacked magazines, allowing a large capacity. Also, the round counts given are for a .45 ACP, some 1911 clones have been made in everything from .40 S&W to 9mm, and since these have smaller bullets, the round counts for the same space may be higher.
