I get a lot of requests to do certain songs, but most of them I don't really get a good feel for the song or I don't have any inspiration so I end up just passing on the majority of them. I got a PM for this song with a link to a music video contest and my interest was piqued and I enjoyed the song after listening to it.

After watching the real music video for it I decided to go in a similar direction using the concept of photo montages and after seeing that the contest host seemed to like lip dubbing/syncing I decided to try some new lipsyncing techniques which seemed to work ok for the most part.

I was thinking of keeping it to one anime series, but its always more fun to do multiple anime, and in this case it seemed easier to use multiple shows. I thought it was going to be a relatively simple project, but I had upwards of 70 individual video tracks when working on some of the photo-montage scenes and getting the lip syncs masked and synced properly took multiple takes.

I had a ton of free time though and spent anywhere from 3-5 hours a day on it for about 9-10 days with two 8 hour days when it was raining outside and absolutely nothing else to do. :P Overall it came out closer to 40+ hours to make when I thought I was only going to spend something like 15 on it from start to finish.
