@NorthernBoy2010 Calm down. :P I was playing with you. Also, considerably less than 50% were patriots because many at that time did not believe we should have separated from Great Britain at all.

What's wrong with Loyalism?? I thought that the American Constitution is supposed to guarantee freedom of thought and opinion? It's a shame how Loyalists and Native Americans were treated after independence, merely because they supported Great Britain. 30% were Loyalists, 50% were Patriots - by no means the consensus that is often portrayed!

@NorthernBoy2010 Perhaps so, but that doesn't alter the fact that the British were nasty dirty heartless people around my ascendants and I don't really much appreciate that, they treated them like they were their own property and showed no respect and feelings at all! You really think if would've been best if poor defenseless colons had kept being mistreated like crap? I don't, and I'm glad my ancestors have fought to prevail their own right of liberty and equality God bless the USA
