@zytigon I don't think the idea of hell came from human imagination and guesses, what i think is that the human imagination gave birth to the idea of there being no hell.... to push people further away from the fear and love of God.
@zytigon I believe there is only one God and his name is Jehovah, his word is in the Bible..... The bible says Heaven and Earth will pass away but the Word of God will remain. God is a just God, what he does unto one watch, he does unto another. Good and Evil can never co-exist. Jesus says "I'm the truth, the way and the life, whoever believes in me will have everlasting life" If a person doesn't believe in Jesus how will he have everlasting life
@Bibliomaniac15 Try Rob Bell defends his view of hell in "Love Wins" debate on officialpremiertv channel. I think people need to have a bigger vision of God. We need to be children of a greater God. The idea of hell came about from human imagination & guesses. Two options 1- you cease to exist after death 2- you have afterlife. If 2 then 2a- something nice 2b- something nasty. What could be the worst? Burn in fire? How can you weep without eyes or gnash teeth with no teeth?
@zytigon Like I said, you can't just choose the verses you like and base your belief off that. If you have to reject "some Bible ideas," how can it be the perfect word of God? Why would God insert ideas that are false (hell, judgment, and the condemnation of sin) in his own book? You are deceiving yourself! A "supergod" is mentioned nowhere in the Bible.
@Bibliomaniac15 I believe in Supergod who saves humanity from the false image of godliness painted by the Old Writ. Supergod loves the whole world so much that he did not want anyone to perish and so does not condemn anyone but takes everyone to a happy afterlife. Supergod is the only truly good God, complete love, forgiveness. To be loving it is necessary to reject some Bible ideas. The doctrine of hell is a clanging cymbal to the church. It is selfishness in code.
@zytigon Jesus only said the first half of that statement. He never said that he cancelled hell; on the contrary he talked about it frequently and warned the people about its peril. To claim a perspective of universal salvation is to turn a blind eye on the Scriptures that you do not like.
I used to own some of this music, and cannot remember the name of the lead vocalist of this song. Can anyone help me? I miss his solo music and have forgotten his name.
