France bans musical show to raise funds for Terrorist LTTE

A musical show organised by the Tamil Rehabilitation Organisation in France to raise funds for the Sri Lanka Separatist LTTE had been a failure.

Several leading South Indian Cine Stars were scheduled to perform at this show, which the TRO and LTTE loyalists had planned. But French reports said it was suspended. The Indian Stars and Cinema artistes had rejected attending this fair. It is also reported that the French Embassy in India had rejected granting visas to them. As a result, the LTTE sympathisers had to abandon the show. Attempts by them to raise funds for the tiger outfit in Europe had been unsuccessful. London reports said another show, which was to be staged in the British capital had been attended only by a handful. The Asian Tribune website said TRO and other terrorist loyalists are confronting a an issue on raising funds for the LTTE.
