Fly Fly Hobby F86 Sabre

First part of the video is footage from day 2, actual maiden flight. The second half is from day 1. Realized the nose had to be raised, and the tail lowered, to achieve take-off!

What motor and esc were you useing so I know which one not to use

I'll have to ask my buddy, the one who actually owned this plane. I have not a clue! I do know that the ESC that failed was a Castle Creations High Voltage 85 amp. He had hooked up a power meter, and was only putting 75 amps through it at WOT.

If a jet dead sticks like that I want one. What motor and esc are you useing Now and are you flying on 5s or 6s. That was a good save, if a ESC goes POOF that was a good spot!

Motor burnt...............but jet is ashes now! Watch wings over Atchison. ESC went that time.

It did actually take off from the grass. First attempt, nose was too low.
