    two year old german is not an old dog hes not a old dog hes at a great age to learn anything. shepards are a very smart breed you can teach him in 10 min its all in how fun u make it and when you reward with the word good boy. good luck

    Thanks for the tips! I just got a 3 month old German Shepherd and he hasn't figure out fetch yet! Going to try your technique tonight and see how he does!
