Mixing her obsession with death, crime scene photography and a love for Cindy Sherman, Leslie Andrews' "Death By" photo series was born. It started out with her covered in fake blood in her bathroom reenacting crime scenes and it progressed to absurd death scenes. She chooses to face the subject of death but also lighten it by dying in uncommon situations, such as "Death by Garden Hose," or "Death by Elevator." Deciding what she is wearing, how her body is positioned, her surroundings, the last thing her eyes see, and how she actually dies essentially allows her to manipulate death through photography.

  • It would be great to date a lady like this, kinda on the wild side. But there is that part where you had to keep one eye open all the time, you may have a knife sticking out of your face some night!

  • absolutely amazing ! Keep it , you are very creative (:

  • i love ur tatoo ... ed@phil

  • this is incredible. you chose a fascinating and complex subject and gave deep, compassionate insight into her psychology. a portrait of someone who makes art that might strike others as the product of disturbed mind comes out looking like a portrait of someone wise, extremely hopeful, and creatively idealistic. it also provides a great window into what makes (or will make) her art important. i hope you both continue making your excellent work. cheers!

  • Very bad!!! malo gusto! no puedes ries de la muerte!

  • Wow. That is beautiful! Keep up the fantastic creativity!!

    xx Megan
