Anchored by the brand new Levine Center for the Arts, Charlotte has an excellent arts and culture scene. The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, Mint Mueum Uptown, Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, Knight Theater and the Levine Musem of the New South are part of a mile of cultural activites in Charlotte's Center City. NoDa and PlazaMidwood are Charlotte's artisit's district which is home to art galleries, funky restaurants, live music venues and even a bar for dogs. Broadway shows are always at hot ticket at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.
