Anything You Say Mr. J (Part II of The Dark Knight Spinoff)

Following the events of the first film "Call Me Mr. J". We pick up several hours later, post Harleen and Joker's final session. Now covered in blood and sporting his iconic knife, the Joker has Arkham's own, Dr. David Thurman, gagged and bound to a chair while Harleen watches from court side as she unwittingly wanders deeper into the Joker's madness.

A WORD FROM CHRIS

This film was shot in about 3 hours tops in the wonderful dank ass, moldy nightmare I call my basement. If you are having trouble recognizing it, it's probably thanks to the plastic tarps Kim and I used to decorate our set. We really wanted to make sure we had a unique background for this shoot vs the average basement. With that being said, we thought, "Why not a Dexter themed Kill Room?" And that's just what we did.

The idea for this sequel came about after reading the wonderful comments about our first film on Youtube. That's right. You folks made this happen. Whether you wanted it to or not. We were dead set on NOT making a sequel till we saw such a positive and intelligent response to our film. So one thing led to another and Kim and I quickly penned a second script, waited for the right time and BOOM, we made "Anything You Say Mr. J".

The Joker in this seems too serious to me (no pun intended). He's not funny, just psychopathic. While he is technically a psychopath, he is different than other criminals in that he makes us laugh and we love him even though he's a murderer, but here he doesn't come off as much different than any other whack-job with a bloodlust, and frankly he's not very likeable. This is my first time watching this series, and I'm going to finish it, but I'm kind of disappointed.

I do like this series and I just have to say that the Joker is funny here(I love the "That says alot!" line) But this series doesn't quite have the realism that the Nolan films had. And yes I know you don't have a big budget, I'm not saying you should have gone totally money crazy with this, I just doesn't have the realism. This actually feels like what I think a Harley Quinn origin would go in a comic series set in the Nolanverse. Second time watching the series, and it still awesome though
