@niash91 When i meant revolution i was talking about bringing out a drastic change the socio-economic conditions of our country , not the tablet
you must be ignorant enough to feel proud of your country , or you are proud because you are insensitive towards the things happening around , or your just a simple nutcase troll , picking over a month old comments , just so you can get you daily "FIX" of wanting to own someone.
You must be one of those assholes who think being proud is being cool

@TheBarathbushan : dude seriously..?, THIS is revolution. The begining of it, at least.. dont tell me u cant see it! u just have a very narrow view about the 'revolution' u mentioned.
Oh and about the poverty, this device is FOR the people who cannot afford it otherwise, so that even they can own a tablet.
U cant stop me or anyone from feeling proud about india. But i cant stop you from 'not being proud' either.. I am just glad that i am not you.

@TheBarathbushan I don't need your advise to become revolutionary. I answered your question and made no statement to glorify a person making intel chips. I do perform my responsibilities toward this society and my country and I don't need to shout out loud to say that I am doing good. I fight for right and discourage any wrong doings and to do this I do not need to take your advise

Akash is a good tablet for the poor , but it's nothing great since the features are exactly the same of what the price is worth to be.
The great thing however is the government subsidizing half its price

@MrSaboteur1 " Vinod dham " does not change the fact that more than half of india is living in poverty , while others exploit the weak , and some middle class / upper middle class punk like you who owns a computer , comments On "Vinod dham" . Stop feeling proud , and start feeling revolutionary to protest against the injustice around you.

whoop dee doo... what an achievement India. While the world is busy trying to make a great breakthrough in processors, reliability, and technology in general, India is going backwards by making (what I believe is) slow, unreliable junk.
Wonder if China will come out with a $5 tablet next...
