"Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll (scroll). And he said unto me, What are you seeing? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. Then said he unto me, This is the curse that is going forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that is stealing shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that is swearing shall be cut off as on that side according to it. I will bring it forth, is saying Yahweh of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that is swearing falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof." - Zechariah 5:1-4
How does this relate to the false peace which the Antichrist, and the world, will soon establish in the Middle East. It is both a stealing of the land of Israel, from the people of Israel, and a false swearing in the name of God at the same time. But all those who are part of it, will be punished for it, for the Word of Yahweh God (which is spoken by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of Yahweh God) will witness against them and they will be consumed by it!
"Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now your eyes, and see what is this that is going forth. And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that is going forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth. And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that is sitting in the midst of the ephah. And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither (to where) do these bear the ephah? And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base." - Zechariah 5:5-11
I am sure that the Antichrist is one of the Popes, perhaps this one, and that he will be the one who is supported by the nations in this work of establishing a false peace in the Middle East; for, it is of his group, as they have been working to accomplish this behind the scenes all along. They want Jerusalem to be an international city, under their control, so they set up a scenario where the only workable solution is to make it just that! Because Israel will never agree to it being a Palestinian capital, and the Palestinians will never sign it over to Israel as their capital, so the only workable solution will be for it to be an international capital, belonging to "everyone", which is exactly what they want. This is why I believe that the Antichrist will be in Jerusalem, and his troops will secure it, but when the earthquake comes they will be punished!
Yahhoshua Messiah (who is Yahweh God) is the only source of salvation, strength, and shalom...
True and lasting peace (salaam, shalom) in the Middle East, and indeed in the world, is possible! Most certainly it is possible; but not by the devices of man, not by the actions of sinful fallen man, not by the creature who is sick and has no way to heal himself. It is only possible by the Holy Spirit of Yahweh God; not by might (of a sinful man), nor by power (of the multitude of sinful men), but by His Holy Spirit (the Spirit and the working of Yahweh God, Yahhoshua, alone). By Yahhoshua (Yahweh Hoshua) alone, in full harmony with His expressed will (His Word, the Holy Bible) alone, and at the time He has appointed alone! The only mediator between man and God is the man Christ Jesus (Messiah Yahweh Hoshua); 1 Timothy 2:1-7. Outside of him man can't be at peace with God at all. The only one who can establish the true and lasting peace (salaam, shalom) in the Middle East (in the world), which the Bible speaks about, is Yahweh Hoshua Messiah alone. Nobody else (Psalm 29)! Amen and amen.
