No, this isn't more Y2K crap. You lose your job and have a large family to feed. Are you going to make them eat nuts a dry fruit for the next few years while you try to get another job? How about a hurricane, tornado, earthquake, or flood? Are you going to just cross your fingers a pray the Red Cross will take care of you? Your reply shows the lack of personal responsibility so prevalent in today's America.

Personaly my fave ready to eat 'meal' is a jar of plastic jar of peanut butter :)
but thebiggest downside is I will wanna eat a few days worth of cals couse I LOVE peanut butter.

One note about box pasta - freeze it overnight, then ziploc it (in the box) or vacuum-seal it (without the box) to kill any insect larvae in the cardboard, or that might have made their way into the pasta during packing, shipping, or storage. Nothing like getting a great deal on food only to find it's totally infested six months later! Great clip, keep 'em coming!

great stuff! Can you help me or lead me to a study that shows how long I can store diesel fuel with sabelizer. I know that I have to filter it well before use but, how many years before it can not be used. Also, can I use 55gal plastic or should I use metal barrels. Thanks

right off the bat I would recommend that you buy a berkey portable one quarter purification system. One of the places you can go for this and larger systems is themicroeffectdotcom They have all that you will need. Water purification tabs are another good item to have if you can find them. We have a water video in the can but have not had time to post it yet.
