denon dbp-4010 review

This blu ray player is outstanding....not just for video but for audio also. It may take longer to load a blu-ray movie but you will be rewarded with superb picture and sound quality. If you care about 3D then you should wait for the new 100 year anniversary player coming from denon which is looks like the same outstanding player with added 3D. I pesonaly do not care about 3D until display technology is perfected which alows us to view 3D image with out need for glasses. Just when all of us bougth high resolution dlp tvs, here comes flat panel, so we bought that too, then 1080p flat panel. When most of us purchased flat tvs, now they have 3d flat tv. Whats next you ask?...I tell you next you will see one of two things. One 3D with no glasses and Two increase in resolution. Here I stand and say ...screw 3D, it gives me headache and i have put glasses on top of mine, how about if they inprove resolution first say to 4k maybe. Ok thats enough about 3D i hate it so I had to vent. ohh yeah how many 3d movies do we have...all five of them..thanks but no thanks

why dont you just use the ps3 for blu ray? it can output linear pcm 7.1 surround sound

@MrViper7121 denon link 4th, thats why. and video processing is much better. do you think 200 dollar ps3 will do better job playing blu-ray then 2000 player? i don't think so..

Great video explaining this outstanding system. Your were 'bang on' in your assessment of the system. The 4010 works BEST when connected via DenonLink 4th to a Denon AVR system. The connections are very simple. Just 2 connections required - 1 network cable (included), and 1 HDMI cable (not included). I was up and running in no time, and the performance of this system is outstanding. So far I am extremely pleased with the purchase of the 4010 UDI. BTW, Denon customer service is great!
