This is the new 2010 Vox AC15HW1, the hand-wired AC15 combo from the New 2010 Vox Handwired series. These 60's style fawn tolex beauties feature the unmistakable chime and natural compression that you've come to expect from the best vintage Vox AC15 amplifiers, thanks to all-tube design, including an EZ81 tube rectifier, and top-shelf components hand-wired on turretboard just like the old days. The control panel on the Vox AC15HW1 offers considerable flexibility, with Normal and Top Boost Channels, a half-power switch, and a footswitchable hot mode for extra gain. You can also keep it old-school by completely bypassing the Master Volume. 15 Watts of EL84 tube power is pumped through your choice of either a Celestion Greenback (Vox AC15HW1) or a Celestion Alnico Blue speaker (Vox AC15HW1x), housed in a Birch-ply cabinet with solid bracing and natural high-end diffusion for ultra smooth treble response. For true Vox tone, it doesn't get better than the new 2010 Vox AC15 Hand-wired combo. http://proguitarshop.com/store/amplifiers-vox-amplifiers-c-4_39/vox-hand-wire...

  • Was the Les Paul section with the green back or the blue? BTW, you guys make the best demos. Thanks for that.

  • @straticusiam It was the Greenback with the Les Paul and the Tele. Thanks!

Thumbs up If your a true Radiohead Fan !

  • I wouldn't worry about the lack of english labour, I have one of the original ac15 heritage handwired amps and a bunch of boutiques - victoria, swart and while the build quality fo the vox ain't quite the same the sound is v. sweet and for the diff in price... just buy 2 : ) my goto amp.

  • @butterscotchtele ; My AC15C1-BL Ltd. Edition has no annoying hisses whatsoever. You may have some noise coming from another source getting into your PS.

  • @brandon5pennies Eh, not exactly true. There's always the issue of clean headroom as well as how heavy your drummer is, how many peopel are in the band, the type of music you play, whether or not its being mic'd by a PA, how big the venue is and... well. You get the idea.

  • Somebody to love :)

  • @TheMusicDude1997 Except they use AC30's :)

  • Do these amps hiss as much as the c1?

  • 15 watts is MORE than enough to play live for anyone that's ignorant enough to think otherwise. AC15s have always had a classier and refined tone to my ears.

  • Why do I like the sound from the PGS demo of the AC15C1 better than this HW version?

  • @tjnugent62 Yeah Andy what do you think?

  • Very usually on these amp demo videos, we usually get a guitarist playing some generic blues lick, but on this one the first thing I hear is 'The One I Love.' Refreshingly brilliant, made me smile!

  • Somebody to loooooooooooooovvvvvvee
