This is a bat type ornithopter in development.
This is first test flight with New bending arms.
This ornithopter has a bending bending arms.
Flight management is done by bending an arm.
One Servo pulls the right and the left cubital joint.
When right elbow is pulled, right wing shortens and the amplitude of flapping of right wing becomes big.
Then ornithopter turns to the left.
I think that when right elbow is pulled ornithopter will turns to the right. But, ornithopter turns to the left.
On this phenomenon, a further research is necessary.
One ESC and twe Servo for rudder(pull elbow) and elevator (tail & legs).
It even sounds like a bat! Cool!

Very cool.
About the left and right turning issue.
When you pull in the right elbow the wing changes shape.
It becomes more curved.
When it becomes more curved it generates more lift.
If it generates more lift the wing wants go up.
So the right wing goes up compared to the left wing
which puts the bat in a turn to the left.
