West Bengal, March 13 (ANI): With authorities prepared to launch an anti-Maoist operation in west Bengal, villagers in West Midnapore district of the state have started to flee their homes in fear. About 35 villages falling under the jurisdiction of Belpahari police station wear a deserted look as villagers have escaped to safer places, believing that once the operation gets underway, it would be impossible for them to carry on with their normal lives. Some of them, however, have even left their belongings and livestock.
