yes it does look like a dance. you can call it the dance of war if you want. Its purpose and effectiveness however cannot be disputed. The fact that sikhs today are alive and the sikh religion exists is the biggest proof that this martial art is effective... ofcourse it was watered down by the british because they were scared of it.. but it is being revived slowly....
