Pro Choice Rally - London 9 July 2011

Nadine Dorries and Frank Field are trying to introduce new anti-choice pre-abortion counselling rules, creating delays, restricting access and allowing anti-abortion groups to advise women on their pregnancy options.

Speakers at the rally include excerpts from: Abortion Rights, Education for Choice, Diane Abbott (MP) and Laurie Penny.

@chrismarq21 Life is not all that cracked up to be. You get born, bad and good things happen, then you die. Then you may go up to "heaven" or "hell", or just stay in the ground as a dead corpse. @chrismarq21 Actually, being Pro-Choice mean you are giving the women the choice because right now, she matters the most, not the fetus, who cannot make a choice for itself because the brain is fully developed. And about the "May God Bles you" part, but I am a Athiest, and I rather believe in science than your invisible friend, and abortion is the answer in many different eyes other than yours. @chrismarq21 I don't want a baby so I shouldn't have sex at all, I will make sure to tell my rapist that while he is raping me. Back yard abortions and coat hangers are actually necessary to the women if she is so desperate to have a abortion but no one will provide her one. And about the limbs being pulled apart and about feeling pain, if they feel pain why don't they cry? Oh yes, because they cannot feel pain or emotions because it is still in the fetus phase or start loving the mother/father

@Izzy85461 - Now, as for them wanting to have the choice to live, would you rather be born and see the harshness of the world, as well as being beaten and abused, or go into your magical "heaven" and be loved by your "god". If I was to chose, I would chose to go to "heaven", to just leave all the harsh world off my shoulders and just live in your "paradise". Now, for them being able to feel everything inside at 3 wks, i have one question: Do you remember being given birth? I didn't think so.

@chrismarq21 We kill bugs all the time, what is the difference? A better term for the fetus or the "baby" as you call it is a parasite:an organism that lives on or in an organism of another species, known as the host, from the body of which it obtains nutriment. The heat beat does not start till the 6 week, even then it is still not considered "human" until it is able to live out of the mothers body, until then it is still a fetus or parasite.-
