@bv90andy How much power does the whole machine draw? (board with cpu, hdds etc)
-
"open cubic player" also was a nice player back then. And as i notice its still in developing and ported to other OSes as well :)

@OBSysteme old computers consume a LOT of power... I use an intel atom for my music and retro games (dosbox) and this mp3 player works great under dosbox.

Проигрыватель очень удачный. Сам его использую на старом компе.
Проигрываю через локальную сеть через TCP IP

I'm using it on a pentium 75 mhz with 8 mb of ram and it plays really good, no lag at all.
I love software that makes old computers reborn again!

@EmperorAtahualpa I believe so

Can you also play FLAC on that computer with Mpxplay?

I got this, had it goin on a pentium runnin 166 Mhz and like 64 Mb ram, now have it on a pentium 2 with 266 Mhz and 64 Mb ram
How do you change the sorround, treble and bass? When i press F1 to check the keylist, the keys assigned for those tasks are the ones that require shift, which won't work. for example Shift+;

Don't remember exactly right now, but try pressing square brackets keys and surrounding them. There is a pair of buttons for every setting.
If your soundcard support this settings - they will change.
