Joining a support group when you don't really need to do that....reminds me of that movie Fight Club...okay it wasn't internet support groups...but its still an abuse of the support group system.

Thanks so much for sharing all this great information! I have recently been dealing with an online predator who admins pseudo 'support groups" targeting abused women on Facebook, and the information in your video has helped me so much in seeing him for who he is. Internet predators and the bogus "support groups" they create can do so much damage to those who are already suffering, and create a cultlike mentality full of fear and paranoia among those they should be helping. Wonderful video!

I have to agree that AA, NA has both male and female predators. There are also very warm and empathic people in these programs. I say just beware of the charismatic leaders in meetings and anyone good looking! ha ha Thanks for getting rid of that Borderline label! how useless!. My old therapist friend said she could just "feel" it if a psychopath came into the room.

Psychos.. You're talking about mentally ill people? Some of them are great artists. You can find elements you've seen elsewhere in every artist's work, including Sheridan's. To say that no psychopath can create awesome art is a useless generalization, just as all generalizations are useless & always get disproved at some point. Why? Because you can't put human beings on formula. & believe it or not, psychopaths are human beings. We even have feelings, just not the same kinds as you do.

Yes, cancer support groups is a classic when talk falls on where psychopaths look for someone to connect with. However, most groups aren't run by psychopaths (I haven't come across any myself). There's no need to do all the work with creating and running a support group, it's much easier and more effective to just join and spend your energy on the individual member you find interesting.

He's the front runner in informing people about psychopathy, indeed you too in part have him to thank for being alerted to our existence. The 4% claim is unlikely to be true. You're mixing two or three groups of antisocial people which are fundamentally different but seem alike.
