"Rawda"

By
Brurya Avidan Barir and Rawda

An autobiographical play about the life of Rawda, an Israeli-Arab Actress who plays herself. The play brings to the stage the story of her childhood as a Muslim girl that was raised in a Druse Village, and her first discovery of sexuality in a conservative community.
Rawda - an impulsive character, full of humor and a declared feminist - finds out at the climax of the play, that her husband is not only cheating on her, he is doing much more than that...
A daring solo performance, full of charm and sincerity, on the struggle for emotional freedom, and on the passion to live and create.
