A Border Collie and Her Kitty

My Border Collie Rosie and my cat Solace (Persian/Siamese/DSH) have a special relationship. Solace latches on to Rosie all the time, but Rosie never does more than mouth him or nose him... very gentle play (on the dog's part). Mind you that even though Rosie disrupted Solace's kitty nap, no cat or dog were injured during the making of this video clip.

First of all, watch your language when you are posting on my channel and on my videos. Second of all, you don't even know these animals. Thirdly, obviously you didn't see the video of this same cat as a kitten chasing the dog around. That dog never bites him even when he is hanging off her jowls, and that cat draws blood.

It is really hard to accurately critique something you know absolutely nothing about.

Actually, the cat is usually the major instigator for one of these play sessions! He will scratch on furniture knowing I will yell at him, which will make my dog jump down and to run over to see how naughty he is. The cat waits for the dog ready to pounce. Don't let the fact that this is a cat/dog thing that the cat is the helpless one of the pair!>

It doesn't matter how they acted in the past, they were calm NOW, and you were provoking the dog NOW! There could've been an accident or something. ha I hear you!!!, I just got my border collie puppy and hes almost took a few swats from my cat whe he got to close, this is only the 2nd day we got the pup but the cat already seems to be earming up to him. Any tips on how to bring up the pup with the cat?? I fear that the cat my swat him in the eye or something.
