Tony T here with our Rockstar quick hitter for Saturdays action. Saturday night on CBS its Elite XC Heat. In the Main Event it will be Kimbo Slice taking on Ken Shamrock. Kimbo Slice is the heavy favorite at 400 with Ken Shamrock coming in as the underdog at +330. If Ken Shamrock were in his prime the odds in the fight could very well be reversed. But at 44 years old Shamrocks best work is behind him. Shamrock has lost 5 straight fights, all in the 1st round and all by punches. Kimbos strength and punching power will be the difference here. Hey Brock Lesner surprised me on his improvement in his UFC victory over Heath Herring so Kimbo Slice has the right to improve since his fight last May. Slice is committed to the sport and I have to believe he has worked to improve his ground game. But its Kimbo and its come down to strikes and getting to his feet against a 44 year old past his prime. Kimbo will show us some improvement and dont be surprised if taken to the ground he gets back on his feet. The first step to improvement is acknowledging a weakness. Kimbo told everyone after his fight with James Thompson that he needed better groundwork. He has worked on it. At least it will enough to get back on his feet against a 44 year old past his prime.
