Thank God I didn't watch this review before seeing it. Basically gives away the film.

I think One-Hour photo is not a bad Robin Williams film either. Or Good Will Hunting or Insomnia. I think he's got his ups and downs. let's hope he makes another great film before he retires from acting.

It's so great, how Simon laughs in the beginning. You see him so rarly laughing, mostly he looks sort of bored :-D

@jonmwb Sleeping Dogs is a damn fine movie.

@keysersoze0bisto It is called Sleeping Dogs, a very dark comedy centralizing on the break down of a couple after the wife admits to the husband about having a sexual encounter with the dog. It is too dark and too unrealized to work. However, it is kind of like a stepping stone and learning curve for World's Greatest Dad. Which the darkness of the plot doesn't stray away from the very humorous comedy and is balanced very well.
You could try watching Sleeping Dogs but don't expect a good film.

What is the film he mentions that is too vile to explain?
-
Completely right about the ending: it sort of sold out the entire premise that Robin was as much of an arse as his son.

Can anyone fill me in on Kermode's opinion of Patch Adams? I assume he's not a fan.

Griffendorf's tribe?
Kermode's face when Mayo says he likes Patch Adams - priceless.
