@kungfucritic I would be disgusted and leave the school immediately. I don't care if someone is teaching their own mix of material as long as their a good teacher. But when they make up lies that distort history and drag other masters names through the mud out of their own greed and love of money and fame, that is unforgivable.

Not only that, but the Chinese in it is NOT consistent with the OFFICIAL Chinese Language that must be used in publications by News corporations. 5 flag bandits (japanese) has nothing to do with 5 flag society (fujian china) has nothing to do with 5 flag rebels (taiwan) has nothing to do with 5 flag army (manchurian). And Lohan KUN (Fist) has nothing to do with Lohan PAI (Hand). One is a hard style kungfu, one is a form/system of bridging hands. On a side note, Ip Man's Wing Chun itself is a mixed style of Wing Chun, it also had things taken out "simplified" by Ip Man.

kenneth lin had a big dream to become somebody. he mixed up ip man wc with lohan kf. called it black flag wc. the biggest problem for such claim is lin's own family tree against himself. lin was a kid, # 6 generation of student under ip man, how could lin become a black flag master? simple, made it up and created more lies & sold it to those young & stupid students. that fake museum guy, benny meng, even his own sifu moy yat would not trust him, why should anyone? lin & meng are scumbags.

If I order Dim Sum I expect Dim Sum not Chop Suey. Kenneth Lin's Black Flag story is made up, his kung fu is Vikoga Wing Chun and Lo Han Kung Fu. Why did Lin say there was 5 flag wing chun from Shaolin temple? Not one Yip Man lineage ever said there was 5 flag wing chun, not even Lin's grand teacher Victor Leow. Lin is the only one. explain!

Anybody can publish a book and mix it with Hung Mun. 5 flag wing chun never existed!

@eddierime I think if his students were historians they might when proven wrong be disappointed , as for those students who are interested in kung fu, i'm sure they will be as happy as any other student in any other wing chun school. Does the fact that my sifu gets his history wrong take away from the quality of what wing chun he teaches ? Who cares about history, when i enjoy my round of golf i dont think care who invented it first !
