johnnysgretsch, maybe you should check your facts! One of the farriers that competed in this competition just won The Best In The Business challenge on the Discovery Channel. It was a Blacksmithing challenge that had nothing to do with farriery. These guys are not only Great farriers, they are Great blacksmiths too. They can do ornamental work that will blow your mind. Check your facts before you go commenting on something you know nothing about!!!

these are horse shoers not blacksmiths very little in common. All farriers do is bend metal into half circles all day.. BORING>

yeah, it seems to be a farriers compitetion. which, if you've ever been to one are awesome fun. and those guys/girls are slick in their own right.
