ScienceCast: Record-Setting Asteroid Flyby

On Feb. 15th an asteroid about half the size of a football field will fly past Earth closer than many man-made satellites. Since regular sky surveys began in the 1990s, astronomers have never seen an object so big come so close to our planet.

Russian meteor and DA14 tryiectories does not fit to each other to be considered DA14 companion :p

At 1:30 you see 2012-DA14 and à little meteor at the right Side. (For the meteor on the leeft) maybe that was the meteor that hit russia XD
