I'm a CWI that my friend is "hammered shit" as we call it in the industry lol No actually when I'm training a welder I always tell them to imagine there is a margin on either side. Stay in the lines. Whats with all the spatter? lol

Hello, I enjoyed watching your video. I am also a welder but, it's different type of welding. We're using quartz glass and we're also dark glasses or dark helmets.
we used glass rods for welding using our two to three fingers to run the rods.
this type of materials or parts are using in the silcon valley and using Hyrogen and oxygen. I have a 20 plus working experinces. Do you think i can adopt my skill to this type of skill?

The arc length is way to big, if it was shortened you would decrease splatter and produce a higher quality weld with virtually no undercut on the vertical plate. And yes NeverDieProductions you are correct a 7018 should be used in a smooth running pass. one more thing kid, your doing good but don't ever beat the hell out your weld bead it would instantly fail inspection... just scratch the slag off or use a wire brush.

well you need to go to different college you will never pass certification if you weld like that.Your welding with 7018 there is no need to step it it should be a nice forward flowing motion.

Somebody has too much money and not enough sense. Also its spelled Acetylene. Depends on the joint configuration, rod type, and amperage to get a curler, usually only real hot 7018 stringers curl back but a few others do as well. I hope you're making money with all those toys, MM 252 and any real plasma don't run cheap.
