@KeeperoftheFortress when you consider that you can play war40k with the models, as long as you put a suitable base on them, then this game is a steal! 10 terminators-$100 ; 20 genestealers - $60 : librarian - $20 : Broodlord - $20 or 30. My favorite piece of the whole kit is the dead marine. Such an awesome model! The only problem i had was one board piece was torn a little bit when i was separating them, but i can just use a lil glue for that. Have you made your bane blade yet?

Interesting... I have Hero Quest too from back in the day... my models were grey but on the pictures on the back of the box they were read. A different production run perhaps.

A game store near me still has 1 or 2 of these. I might buy one, if its still there after Christmas.

I miraculously found a copy this past week at one of the game stores near me. I didn't expect to find it there, as I went there for something completely different (it's not really known for 40k stuff), and lo and behold... Their last copy.

No, it IS limited and is not "cumin" back after a while. GW has pointed out quite openly that they do not plan to re-release it under any circumstances and have already removed all the info related to Space Hulk. Please do not spread false information.

its not limited its cumin back after a while and there has been talk about an expansion like there was back in the day. and they are not hard to convert. iv taken the BA icons of and they are now for my salamanders

I was surprised to see this waiting for me today after work as well, I believe you did a great job voicing the same first impressions I had with the product. I wanted to point out the one downside for this set, that some of the genestealers appear to be rather poorly sculpted although the brood lord looks hella sick. Also the set costs 100 dollars which considering the contents I feel it would have been more around black reach.

Yea it is expensive. But I feel the price isnt bad for the content involved even. Of course id like to pay the cheapest price possible though!
