These kids in the beginning have superficial or spoonfed reasons for "liking judaism"
They like the food, the festivals, or "the synagog is the best one. The best play to...um...pray"

They're just little kids. Too young to really understand what Judaism is and what being part of the religion really means. They'll learn.

You're right kids are too young to know what it means, but they're not too young to be indoctrinated with whatever they're told. Its a good thing they're feeding these kids constructive life skills

I don't know where you got the idea he said the Jews would never go back to Israel. He stated that the temple would be destroyed and raised in three days (referring to his body), and Herod's temple was indeed destroyed a few decades later. The Christian Bible teaches that Jews would indeed return to Israel. You can ask many fundamentalist Christians.
